Named after Chase Meridian — Nicole Kidman's fearless psychologist in Batman Forever — and Buzz Lightyear's battle cry "To infinity and beyond", Chase Infiniti Payne was destined to go further.
Raised in Indianapolis, she trained in musical theatre at North Central High School before earning her degree in performance at Columbia College Chicago in 2022. Between classes, she coached kick-boxing and co-founded Duple Dance Crew, a K-pop dance collective.
In 2023, she joined the cast of Apple TV+'s Presumed Innocent. A year later, while still on set, she sent a self-tape to Paul Thomas Anderson — earning her role opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in One Battle After Another after a single karate session with the director.
Her performance caught the attention of Tyler, The Creator, who cast her in his music video Darling, I. She then landed the lead in Hulu's The Testaments — the long-awaited sequel to The Handmaid's Tale.
It doesn't matter where you come from,
it's where you're going.
Adapted from Scott Turow's 1987 novel, Presumed Innocent follows Chicago prosecutor Rusty Sabich as he becomes the prime suspect in the murder of his colleague and lover. As the case unravels, family secrets and professional rivalries threaten everything he holds dear.
In her breakout television role, Chase Infiniti plays Jaden Sabich, Rusty's teenage daughter — a quietly perceptive young woman forced to confront her father's possible guilt and the slow disintegration of her family under public scrutiny. The role earned widespread praise as one of the year's standout debut performances.
Jake Gyllenhaal, Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, Peter Sarsgaard, O-T Fagbenle, Renate Reinsve.
Loosely inspired by Thomas Pynchon's novel Vineland, the film follows a former revolutionary, Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio), pulled out of hiding sixteen years after his radical group disbands when his daughter is taken by an old enemy. A sprawling, kinetic thriller about legacy, paranoia, and the cost of conviction.
Chase plays Willa — Bob's quietly resilient teenage daughter, raised off the grid and now caught between her father's revolutionary past and her own emerging sense of self. Her self-tape, sent during the press tour for Presumed Innocent, won her the role after a single in-person session with Anderson — a karate class he'd asked her to attend.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, Alana Haim.
Set fifteen years after the events of The Handmaid's Tale, the series adapts Margaret Atwood's 2019 sequel novel and follows three women whose lives converge as Gilead — and the resistance against it — reach a breaking point.
Chase leads as Agnes Jemima — a young woman raised inside Gilead's ruling class, slowly awakening to the violence underwriting the only world she's ever known. Her first major leading role on television.
Ann Dowd, with Elisabeth Moss reprising her role from The Handmaid's Tale.
